Mechanical MX low profile keyboard with RGB lighting and metal housing

Auerbach, 14. September 2021 - CHERRY, a leading global manufacturer of computer input devices, launches another mechanical keyboard, the CHERRY MX 10.0N RGB.

A SYMBIOSIS OF DESIGN AND MECHANICS 

The CHERRY MX 10.0N RGB is a premium mechanical keyboard and yet as slim as modern office keyboards. This is made possible by the CHERRY MX LOW PROFILE RGB SPEED switches, which are exclusively manufactured in Germany. With an overall height of just 22 mm, typing is ergonomic and comfortable even without a palm rest. This slim elegance stands in stark contrast to the sturdy and solid metal housing. The fold-out base is also made entirely of aluminium. As a special feature, it folds back automatically as soon as the keyboard is lifted. Whether with or without the stand, the keyboard is always stable and non-slip on the desktop.

POWERFUL LIGHTING

All keys feature an RGB LED with up to 16.8 million colours. In addition to ready-made effects, you can also choose your own colours or illuminate individual keys. Choose from exciting colour effects or subtle single-colour illumination – all without installing any software.

“STATE OF THE ART” ELECTRONICS

With 8 MB of integrated memory, the keyboard remembers your last settings – even after it has been unplugged. Anti-ghosting prevents unwanted characters being outputted when several keys are pressed simultaneously. Full key rollover allows all keys to be pressed simultaneously without losing any input.

ORIGINAL CHERRY SWITCHES

CHERRY MX LOW PROFILE RGB SPEED switches withstand more than 50 million presses per key. Despite the low height, the inimitable MX feeling can be felt with every keystroke. The switching characteristic is linear, i.e. without a click and without noticeable resistance. The actuation point occurs following a pre-travel of just one millimetre, so requires little effort from the user. This not only increases the reaction time but also ensures that every keystroke of the extra flat keys is registered - a decisive advantage, not only for gamers but also for everyday office use.
